On October 21, 2023 someone won the $1 million Powerball lottery at the Food Mart on The Plaza Charlotte, NC.
The customer bought a $2 Powerball ticket and matched all five white balls for the million dollar prize.
The winner has not come forward yet, but they have 180 days to claim their winning ticket at lottery headquarters in Raleigh.
