Hot fires killed Marlon in a Charlotte crash, he was a car enthusiasts
A vehicular collision killed a man identified as Marlon Samuels, 18, on Good Friday April 18, 2025 in Charlotte, NC at the intersection of Ayrshire Glen Place and Shopton Road. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.

Marlon was in a vehicle when the car lost control and hit a tree, the vehicle ran into the woods and caught fire. Several people were hurt in the crash. Marlon burned alive as he was trapped in the car. The smell of burning skin filled the air nearby.

Marlon died before paramedics and fire crews could arrive. Marlon’s mother Sureita Samuels died a short time before Marlon’s death, Sureita’s death was not related to the Good Friday crash. Sureita was murdered at a Walgreens parking lot.

Marlon was a huge car fan, he was in to car shows and fast cars.
