A woman was dead for 7 days while her living infant daughter sat in the same home alone, dead body smell gave it away
On October 2, 2025 a woman identified as Anbrielle Davis, 32, was found dead inside the Southside Homes housing projects, in a residence on Griffith St Charlotte, NC. The woman was dead for days, as her living 3-year-old daughter sat next to her and didn’t know to call for help. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
Anbrielle died from unknown causes. She was dead for days, her infant daughter was in the house too. The girl lay beside her dead mother for days. The girl never called 911 or got help. The girl survived off of cereal and candy and apple juice.
The girl did know how to use the bathroom, as she was potty trained. It was not until a neighbor had began to smell a foul odor that reeked of a dead body coming from the residence.
The neighbor had not seen Anbrielle for days or heard from her, so the neighbor called police. Cops entered the home to find the woman dead and the little girl alive.
The girl was rushed to the hospital to be checked out, she is now in DSS custody. Anbrielle’s death is being investigated.
