31-year-old Jermiera Fowler was murdered on June 1, 2023 in Birmingham, Alabama. She was reported missing after going to meet someone for a Facebook Market Place sell.
On May 31, 2023 Jermiera went to meet someone for a Facebook Market Place sell in Birmingham, Alabama. Jermiera never returned, so her family reported her missing.

Officers, along with Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel were dispatched on a report of a burned body. Officers arrived on the scene and observed Jermiera burned and with visible signs of trauma.
Emergency personnel pronounced Jermiera deceased on the scene.It is not confirmed that the Facebook Marketplace purchase led to her death. There is no one in jail custody in relation to Jermiera’s murder.
