16-year-old Susana Morales was found dead on February 6, 2023 in Gwinnett County. Susana’s skeletal remains was found in Drowning Creek.
Susana had been missing since July 2022 out of Atlanta, GA. In July Susana was walking home from a friend’s house. Her mother texted her, and Susana texted back saying she is coming home.
That was the last time Susana was heard from. Susana never made it home and a search was initiated. Despite the search efforts, Susana was never found.
Several months later on February 6, 2023 Susana was found dead in a creek on Highway 316. A driver discovered Susana and called cops.
Investigators are still working to determine how Susana died.
