A murderous shooting outside of Optimist Hall closed down a CSX freight train line
A man was shot and killed in a murder on January 14, 2026 on Alpha Mill Lane Charlotte, NC right outside of the Optimist Hall food court.
The man was shot and killed at 3:30 p.m, in proximity to the CSX railroad tracks and near the Optimist Hall.
The man died on scene. The CSX rail line was temporarily shutdown due to the murder.
