Andre was a sophomore at the school. Andre was driving a vehicle on the highway with 2 of his friends as passengers. A suspect vehicle pulled up next to them and began shooting.
Andre was shot in the head, which caused him to lose control and crash. The suspect vehicle kept driving down the highway.
Andre died at the scene. His two friends were rushed to the hospital, but survived. Multiple students and alumni of black schools have died within the last year.
