Jayvon Jaysin Rodriguez was shot and killed at a house party on April 10, 2022 in Chicago, Illinois.
The shooting was at 2 a.m. at an apartment complex in Elgin. A party was underway on Congdon Avenue. Several shots were fired at the party during a dispute.
6 people total were shot. Responding officers located five people that were wounded on scene, and they were taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.
Mr. Rodriguez was also shot and was taken to the hospital in a personal vehicle. Even after medical care and surgery, Mr. Rodriguez died at the hospital. Several suspects are being sought, but no arrests have been made.
