29-year-old Dalton Matheson is accused of video recording two young girls at a Walmart as they tried on clothes in a fitting room on April 6, 2022. The Walmart was in Fort Myers, FL. The girls were 4 and 12 years old.
The girls were in a dressing room trying on new clothes when they saw a cell phone slide under the dressing room door as they were trying on swim wear. The girls screamed and told their father who was nearby.
The father confronted the alleged suspect identified as Dalton. Walmart employees are said to of confronted Dalton also. The suspect is accused of running out of a back fire exit door with hundreds of dollars in merchandise.
Dalton was caught 2 hours later at a bus stop and charged with obstruction without violence, petit theft, and two counts of video voyeurism.
