On June 9, 2022 Lamar McCoy, 20, was murdered at a gas station around 5 p.m. in Gastonia, NC. Now a 17-year-old teenager is behind bars, charged with the murder of Lamar.
The suspect fled. Lamar died at the gas station. Bullet holes at the scene were punctured into the victim vehicle. The nearby roads were closed for an extended period of time as the investigation and crime scene analysis continued.
On June 10, 2022 a 17-year-old male was arrested and charged with Lamar’s homicide.
