On June 10, 2022 three people were shot at East Ridge Mall in Gastonia, NC. The mall is located on New Hope Road.
The shooting was at noon and took place in the food court. An altercation between several people erupted and shots were fired. 3 people were taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries.
Police with large tactical guns were looking for a suspect in the woods by the mall. Gastonia had a murder just yesterday on June 9th.
