Kendrick Neely, 50, was killed on May 8, 2024 on Brookshire Boulevard Charlotte, NC. Rico Conception Aery, 41, was arrested charged with Kendrick’s death. Watch video of a man catching fire on a motorcycle while running from cops.

Kendrick was driving a Harley Davidson motorcycle on Brookshire Boulevard. Rico was driving a Cadillac vehicle.
Rico is accused of turning into the path of the motorcycle and colliding with it. The impact of the collision caused Kendrick to be ejected from the motorcycle.

Kendrick landed on the hot asphalt, his body was skinned up with broken bones and serious injuries.
Upon arrival, officers located front end damage in the Cadillac. Kendrick was taken to Atrium Health Hospital. Kendrick was pronounced deceased a short time after arriving at the hospital.
Rico was arrested charged with misdemeanor death by vehicle and driving while license revoked. Several motorcycle crashes involving Harley Davidsons have occurred in and around Charlotte.
Kendrick’s family member identified as James Neely died just last month in April 2024. Kendrick worked for B&N Grading, Inc. for 10 years.
