Andres was driving a vehicle on Interstate 77 when a collision occurred with another vehicle near the Sunset Rd. exit. Andres died on the scene. There were many deaths over the Memorial Day Weekend 2024 in Charlotte.
The victim in the other vehicle was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries. The collision occurred around 3 a.m.
The crash caused several lanes on I-77 to shutdown. There is no word on what led to the deadly collision.
