A young father died in a cop car in custody, police stupidly violated his constitutional rights
A father with multiple kids identified as David Jackson, 35, died on September 26, 2025 in Charlotte, NC while in the back of a cramped up hot police car. The Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department admits putting the man in handcuffs.

Cops on scene made up a reason to illegally search the man’s vehicle, although he was not even arrested yet. The Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department is known to violate people’s constitutional rights. Many cops that work for CMPD are very poor minded when it comes to the United States Constitution and the rights of everyday citizens. The U.S. constitution is a joke to them.

Cops say they developed probable cause to search the victim’s vehicle. But the 4th Amendment protects from illegal search and seizure.
It is very unlikely that police had a valid reason to search the man’s car.
The victim was removed from his vehicle and put in the back of a police car that was small, cramped, and hot.
While the man was handcuffed in the police car, he began to shake and convulse. The man was in medical distress for some time before police even paid enough attention to know he was in a medical episode.
Cops finally saw the victim in need and medics were called to the scene. Paramedics took the victim to the hospital. The man died within minutes.
The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) is the lead investigating agency in the case.
