Watch a cop get blasted in the face on the street in broad daylight, also shot in legs
On July 5, 2025 Ernesto Sepulveda shot a LAPD cop in the face and both legs. Ernesto was riding a bicycle on the sidewalk when cops stopped him in Los Angeles. Adults must ride bikes on the street.
Officers approached and believed Ernesto had a gun in his waist, which is not illegal depending on state concealed carry laws.
Ernesto then got off the bike and ran, the cops chased him and Ernesto pulled out a gun and shot one of the officers in the face and both legs.
The officer went down in pain immediately. Other cops chased Ernesto down and arrested him. It appears from the video that one cop is seen unlawfully punching Ernesto when he was already on the ground.
Ernesto had a 9 mm pistol. The suspect was arrested charged with two felony counts each of premeditated attempted murder of a police officer and one felony count of carrying an unregistered loaded handgun.
