The crash was on October 30, 2024. Connie and Gregory were in a vehicle around 8 a.m. Tajarvis was driving a separate vehicle nearby. As one of the vehicles was making a u-turn, Tajarvis is accused of crashing head on into the vehicle Connie and Gregory were in. An elderly muslim woman and her daughter were killed in a crash just last week.
Connie and Gregory died on impact. There was extensive damage to both vehicles. Tajarvis also had a passenger in his vehicle. Both the passenger and Tajarvis were injured, but they lived.
A white sheet had to be placed over Connie and Gregory before paramedics even arrived. The head on collision shut down traffic on Freedom Drive for hours.
After Tajarvis was released from the hospital on the same day of the fatal crash, he was charged with two counts of misdemeanor death by vehicle and additional traffic violations.
