JUDGE MURDERED AT HIS HOME IN VIOLENT SHOOTING

On October 19, 2023 Maryland Circuit Court Judge Andrew Wilkinson, 52, was shot and killed during a murder at his home in Hagerstown, Maryland.

 The judge was home with his wife and son. While the judge was in his front yard a suspect shot him multiple times at 8 p.m.

The suspect fled the scene. The judge’s wife and son called police. The judge was taken to a local hospital where he died of his injuries.

In 2022 Judge John Roemer was murdered in New Lisbon, Wisconsin by a man that he sent to prison.

Judge Wilkinson served in Washington County’s 4th Judicial Circuit since Jan. 10, 2020, he attended the University of North Carolina and he earned a law degree at Emory University.
