From ashes to ashes to dust to dust, another cop is in the dirt. This time it was head on collision
30-year-old Aaron Tindall was a detention officer with The Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office. Officer Aaron was killed on August 27, 2025 in a head on collision crash. The fatal wreck was in Fort Mill, SC.

On August 27th, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, Officer Tindall was involved in a car accident around noon.
According to troopers, Officer Aaron was driving a Chrysler van on Highway 460 when it left the road, over corrected, crossed the center line, and hit another car.
Officer Aaron died on scene. The driver of the other vehicle was taken by ambulance to the emergency room. Officer Aaron was employed with the sheriff’s department since April 2, 2025, he worked at the unsafe jail as a detention officer.
The jail ran by the poor leadership of Garry McFadden has been deemed unsafe by the state of North Carolina.
