A major collision on Interstate 77 North caused a massive fire in Charlotte, NC on August 16, 2022 before noon.
An 18-wheeler truck wrecked with other vehicles and then caught fire near the Freedom Drive exit. Significant injuries were reported, although there is no word on if anyone died.
