A CMS employee was mad her husband did not clean the house, so she cut him in the neck while making curry
Chandraprabha Singh, 44, works for Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools, she was arrested on October 12, 2025 charged with cutting her husband Arvind Singh in the neck. Mrs. Singh is a teacher assistant for grades K-3 at Endhaven Elementary School in the Ballantyne area.

This incident occurred off school property and did not involve any student. The neck cutting was on Oct. 12th. at the married couple’s south Charlotte home. Arvind and Mrs. Singh were in the kitchen cooking breakfast, Mrs. Singh was mad because Arvind did not clean the house.
The wife stated that she asked her husband to clean. While making curry breakfast Mrs. Singh had a knife in her hand and turned around in the kitchen and sliced her husband Arvind in the neck.
Arvind started bleeding and called 911. Mrs. Singh says the stabbing was an accident. On the 911 call, the victim stated that he got attacked by his wife with a knife.
Arvind was taken to the hospital and he told police that his wife stabbed him in the neck on purpose with the knife.
Mrs. Singh was arrested charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury. Now she has to wear an ankle monitor and can not contact her husband.
