Angelvis Fernandez, 22, is accused of killing Ludvin Guzman Morales, 44, and Luis Daniel Gutierrez Mora, 31, within 2 miles of each other in Charlotte, NC. Angelvis is an illegal immigrant and an ICE detainer was placed on him at the time of his arrest.
Luis was murdered on March 22, 2026 on Albemarle Road Charlotte, NC. Angelvis and Luis were at the El Paisano bar when they got into a fight over foolishness. Security kicked them out of El Paisano.
Moments later Luis was shot and killed at a nearby location on Albemarle Road. Luis had a young daughter.
Ludvin was murdered on January 24, 2026 on Central Ave. 2 miles away from the Luis murder. At 3:30 a.m., the victim was shot and killed. Officers responded to a shots fired call. Upon arrival, officers discovered Ludvin with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced deceased on scene.
Angelvis was arrested in March 2026 for both murders. Angelvis was found to be in the United States illegally, an ICE detainer was then placed on him when he was arrested.
