An Indian man is accused of throwing his wife around after she gave birth to a baby
Vishnu Neti, 33, was arrested on March 5, 2026 in Charlotte, NC charged with assaulting his wife Naga Bommakanti.
Naga had just given birth to a new baby less than a month ago. Naga was at home on bed rest when Vishnu is accused of getting angry about something and repeatedly using the palm of his hand to slap Naga in the face and head.
Vishnu is accused of shoving his wife and twisting her arm behind her back and bending her over and striking her in the back. The beat down left Naga’s back sore and bruised.

Naga had just given birth a month prior and had received an epidural in her back in the same place where
she was hit. Vishnu is also accused of yanking his wife by the arm while she was holding their one month old baby.
Naga was crying and sad, she called 911. Vishnu was arrested charged with domestic violence and assault on female.
