26-year-old Tiree Waymer was arrested after allegedly being involved in a high speed chase with police that started in Charlotte, NC and ended in Chester County South Carolina on March 2, 2022.
Officers in Charlotte tried to pull over a stolen SUV at 3:20 p.m., but the alleged driver Tiree is accused of not stopping and leading cops on a chase on Interstate 77.
The driver allegedly drove at high speeds on the interstate and on the wrong sides of traffic to get away. The police chase dipped into Chester County South Carolina. The SUV crashed, and Tiree allegedly ran from the scene, but he was caught and arrested a short time later.
Inside the SUV there were allegedly two AR-style rifles, three pistols, and a 12-gauge shotgun. All the firearms were stolen. Tiree was charged with three counts of unlawful carry of a firearm, 6 counts of possession of a stolen gun, failure to stop for a blue light, reckless driving, and possession of a stolen vehicle.
