A rather pretty Autozone employee was arrested after pocketing cash from a auto battery sale
Yannely Bravo, 23, is an Auto Zone employee, she was arrested on June 18, 2026 accused of stealing from the business. Yannely works at the Auto Zone on Freedom Drive in Charlotte, NC.
The Regional Loss Prevention Manager of Auto Zone called police after discovering that Yannely stole from the company.
Yannely admitted to selling a customer a Duralast Gold Alternator for $200 despite the item’s actual retail price being $272.99.
Yannely kept the $200 payment instead of processing the transaction through the store’s point of sale system. In an effort to conceal the theft, Yannely reprinted an invoice belonging to another commercial customer from an earlier transaction and gave that receipt to the customer that got the $200 product.
The manager some way found out about what Yannely did and reported her. Yannely was brought into the office and admitted to her crimes in both recorded interviews and a written statement, conducted as part of Auto Zone’s company internal investigation.
Yannely was fired and then arrested charged with larceny by employee.
