The suspect had multiple fake identifications and was sending 12 bricks of cocaine to Texas
Joshua Phillips, 44, is accused of possessing 12 bricks of cocaine in Charlotte, NC. Phillips was arrested on June 19, 2026.

The drug investigation started at the FedEx location on Eagleton Downs Dr. in Pineville, NC. There cops found parcels that were suspected cocaine and addressed to 3100 Piper Lane.
At the Piper Lane shipping yard, cops found 6 parcels that contained cocaine. Also parcels were allegedly addressed to Phillips at the Double Tree by Hilton hotel located at 2600 Yorkmont Road Charlotte, NC.
Once the parcels got to the hotel, Phillips is accused of taking possession of the parcels. Cops were doing surveillance and detained Phillips. During the investigation Phillips gave 2 fake driver’s licenses that had his picture on it but the names of other people.
Phillips was charged with having a total of 12 bricks of cocaine. He was arrested on trafficking cocaine offenses.
