New details show that Shane Richardson, 29, committed suicide by shooting himself in the head at a home on Crater St. Charlotte, NC. Shane leaves behind a wife and kids.
Shane had an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to his head. Blood was coming from Shane’s nostrils after the suicide. Also the bullet to the head caused his skull to become deformed.
Right before Shane killed himself, he made a social media post saying:
I did the best I could.
Emergency responders arrived and pronounced Shane dead at the scene. Shane’s family became worried when he messaged his cousin earlier that day about taking care of his children.
The decedent’s pistol was found next to his body. There is no suspicion of foul play.
The official cause of death for Shane has been ruled a suicide.
