COP MURDERED RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER HOME

Areanah Preston, 24, was murdered in a violent drive-by shooting in the front yard of her home in Chicago, Illinois on May 6, 2023. Areanah was a police officer with the Chicago Police Department.

Areanah had just got home from her shift as a cop. At 1:40 a.m. suspects drove by her house, and then turned around, shooting Areanah several times.

The suspects then got out of the vehicle and grabbed Areanah’s police issued gun. The suspect vehicle then fled.

911 was called and another officer arrived on scene to find Areanah on the ground dead, the officer also saw that Areanah was a cop due to her uniform and badge.

The officer put Areanah in his police vehicle and rushed her to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where she was officially pronounced deceased. 

Areanah was a cop for 3 years. She previously earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and law enforcement administration from Illinois State University.

Areanah was a student at Loyola University Chicago School of Law earning a master’s degree, she was set to graduate on May 13, 2023.
