Dirk was an executive chef with years of experience cooking the finest dishes. But his cooking days came to a screeching halt when he died on December 3, 2023.
Dirk was found dead at his Huntersville home by his wife. His wife immediately tried to resuscitate him and called 911. Dirk was partially decomposed.
Dirk died from Morphine toxicity, according to after death medical findings. Dirk had 0.27 mg of Diazepam in his blood and more than 20 mg of Morphine.
0.44 mg of Nordiazepam was also in Dirk’s blood stream. Dirk was in the military. He was also a corporate executive chef for years.
A few years ago Dirk started a restaurant business named Halina’s Cafe & Catering. Dirk made headlines in 2017 for berating customers online for wearing jeans to his restaurant in a Sunday brunch.
There was some sort of argument between Dirk and the customers.
After death medical findings say Dirk had a past medical history significant for hypertension, hyperlipidemia, depression, alcohol abuse, a transient ischemic attack, and substance use.
Dirk admitted online that he formerly struggled with alcoholism. Dirk leaves behind a wife and loving children.
