With deep sadness, the officers and members of Charlotte Fire announce the death of Bryan C. Barfield who passed away this afternoon, May 11, 2023. Please keep the family, friends, and department members in your thoughts and prayers.
There is no word on how Bryan died, but it was not in a fire. Autopsy results are expected. City of Charlotte trash pickup employee Robert Wilson, 44, was killed on April 30, 2023 in a house fire.
