CAMARO HANGING FROM PARKING DECK IN UPTOWN CHARLOTTE

Date:

On June 6, 2024 a vehicle was seen hanging from a parking deck on North Church Street in downtown Charlotte, NC.

The car was identified as a Camaro, and at 8 a.m. people hustling and bustling to get to work saw it dangling from high up out of a parking deck.

The Camaro caused potential imminent danger and damage to people on the ground and businesses due to the possibility of falling.

Roads were shut down by emergency officials near West 6th Street and other roads in the area.

The Charlotte Fire Department was called in to stabilize the vehicle from falling. A tow truck small enough to fit through the parking deck height was brought in and the Camaro was pulled back into the parking deck and towed away.

There is no word on how the Camaro ended up dangling from the parking deck. Paramedics say there were no reported injuries.
