Simone Williams, 26, and Brandi Goolsby, 36, were murdered on Memorial Day weekend 2024 on May 24th in Statesville, NC. Nicholas Goolsby, 39, is accused of killing the women, afterwards he killed himself. Simone graduated from Rocky River High School in 2015. Both Brandi and Simone were social workers.
Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram. The triple shooting occurred at a home in the afternoon. Authorities say Nicholas shot Brandi and Simone inside the home. The 2 women died on scene.
Nicholas then shot and killed himself.
The shots were heard by neighbors and 911 was called. Once on scene, cops found Nicholas, Simone, and Brandi dead. Memorial Day weekend murders are rampant.
Police found the baby in a room untouched. The baby was taken to the hospital for evaluation and released into the custody of family members.
Simone has a Master’s degree in Counseling from Wake Forest University. Simone also obtained her license as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor.
