On June 14, 2023 a young man identified as Paul was shot and killed on Mount Holly-Huntersville Road Charlotte, NC. Paul was in his 20’s and formerly played basketball for West Meck High School years ago.
Around 2:00 p.m. Paul and a group of people got into a dispute in the parking lot of a shopping center on Mount Holly-Huntersville Road.
As the argument intensified, the suspect pulled a gun and shot Paul dead.
Paul was pronounced deceased on scene. The suspect ran and no arrests have been made. Upon playing basketball in high school, Paul continued to play the sport for fun. It is not known if Paul played in college.
