20-year-old Jeremiah Reed is charged with the murder of Markus Petty, 22. Markus was murdered on July 22, 2022 at apartments on Sharon Pointe Road Charlotte, NC during a double shooting. A female was also shot.
Shots rang out at the apartment complex around 6 a.m. Markus and a female that lived at the apartment complex were both shot. Markus died, the female was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries.
Jeremiah was arrested and charged with murder.
