On September 7, 2021 a 4-year-old kid was shot and killed on Richard Rozzelle Dr. Charlotte, NC close to midnight.
Multiple vehicles targeted a home on Richard Rozelle Dr. firing more than 80 shots toward the residence. The 4-year-old child was shot and killed as a result of the senseless violence.
Officers responded to multiple calls regarding shots fired in the area.
Upon arrival, officers located the child with a gunshot wound. The child was transported to a hospital and pronounced deceased.
Officers continue to canvas the neighborhood to determine what other houses were struck by gunfire.
