Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department are conducting a death investigation on Eastway Drive Charlotte, NC that occurred on February 21, 2024. A 3-year-old child was shot and killed. Just before 6 p.m. officers responded to Eastway Drive for a shooting. A 3-year-old male child was shot.
Paramedics transported the victim to the hospital with life threatening injuries. The child was pronounced deceased at the hospital. Several children have been shot at or killed in Charlotte.
