Every drug dealer wants a California connection, marijuana shipped from Cali to suspect, cops go undercover as FedEx deliverers
Cops went undercover to arrest Deandre Anderson, 26, in Charlotte, NC. The cops posed as FedEx delivery drivers. Over 30 pounds of marijuana was shipped to Deandre from California via FedEx.

A FedEx package was flagged by the postal service as having drugs. The package was from California and was shipped to Charlotte. FedEx notified cops of the incoming package shipment. The package was suppose to go to apartments on Resource Dr. known as Elan Apartments.

The package contained 10 pounds of marijuana. The package was turned over to officers. Officers then conducted an undercover investigation by utilizing an undercover officer dressed in a FedEx uniform to deliver the package to the listed address on the label.

Officers arrived at the leasing office of the Elan apartment complex and the undercover officer,
posing as a delivery driver was approached by Deandre.
Deandre allegedly advised the package was his and the officer handed it over. Once Deandre was in possession of the package, cops moved in to arrest Deandre.
Officers conducted a search of Deandre’s apartment and located approximately 21.2 pounds of marijuana which was all individually packaged in glass jars and vacuumed sealed bags, digital scales with marijuana residue, vacuum sealed bags, a vacuum sealing machine, two cell phones, and a ledger showing
marijuana sales.
Deandre was charged with trafficking marijuana. The total weight of all the marijuana was 31.2 pounds.
