A drug dealer sold crack cocaine at multiple Walmarts in Charlotte
On April 17, 2025 William Young, 26, pled guilty to three counts of trafficking cocaine. He sold cocaine to undercover cops in sting investigations at several Walmarts in Charlotte, NC. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
The first drug deal was at the Walmart at 3240 Wilkinson Blvd. In May 2023 Vice undercover cops contacted William and set up a drug deal. The meeting location was at the Walmart.
William arrived and sold crack cocaine to the plain clothes officers. The drug transaction lasted a few seconds and William zoomed out of the parking lot.
Vice undercover cops arranged another crack cocaine drug deal with William at the Walmart located on 8180 South Tryon St., also in May 2023. William arrived at the Walmart and sold crack to the cops. William was arrested in June 2023 charged with trafficking cocaine.
Cops first got acquainted with William in February 2023 when he was arrested at a motel on Queen City Dr. while he was sitting in a vehicle selling drugs in the parking lot. Walmart makes the news a lot, check it out here.
At his 2025 trial William pled guilty to drug trafficking charges, Judge Osman sentenced him to 35-51 months in prison.
