WALMART EMPLOYEE KILLED ON THE JOB IN FORK LIFT ACCIDENT

Walmart employee Josue David Virella Rivera was killed at the Walmart Distribution Center in Henderson, North Carolina on February 19, 2025. The location was Vanco Mill Road. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram. Josue was a father, he had 2 young children.

Josue was operating a mechanical tow motor vehicle, similar to a fork lift, Josue was attempting to move a heavy load of products when the accident occurred. Walmart makes the news a lot for crimes, shootings, employees stealing, and even murderers.

An Arby’s employee was found dead in a freezer

It is likely the forklift tipped over or the product fell on Josue. Other employees saw the accident and called 911. Upon arrival, deputies were escorted inside the Walmart facility and directed to where Josue was. 

Multiple American Airlines employees were killed on the job in Charlotte.

Josue was badly injured and bleeding, he died at the scene. On February 13, 2025 Josue made a Facebook post stating, “Operation Manager hating on me is crazy.”

Walmart released the following statement on Josue’s death:

“The Walmart family is heartbroken over the passing of one of our associates. Our thoughts and prayers are with the associate’s family during this difficult time. We’ll continue working closely with authorities during the investigation.”

The North Carolina Department of Labor is investigating the workplace death. There have been many employees killed in the workplace this year.
