On February 21, 2025, a 77-year-old Beatrice Desir and her 2 female juvenile grandchildren were stabbed to death in a triple homicide at a residence in Fayetteville, NC. Mackendy Darbouze, 26, was charged with killing all three of the female victims, he was family of them. Charlotte Alerts is on Instagram.
At approximately 8:59 a.m., officers responded to a house on Bellarthur Lane regarding a reported triple stabbing. It is unknown who called police.
Once officers arrived on scene, they located three individuals suffering from fatal stab wounds in the home. Mackendy was taken into custody at the scene and arrested charged with triple murder.
The preliminary investigation revealed that all the victims and parties involved are family members. A review of 911 calls at the home indicates previous calls are medical in nature but investigators will continue to examine this tragedy and events leading up to this crime.
The suspect is currently being held at the Cumberland County Detention Center without bond. There is no additional information available at this time.
