Ada Mills-Powell, 23, and Khalil Barnette, 26, were arrested on June 13, 2023 accused of trafficking drugs at the Walmart located on 3850 Independence Blvd. Charlotte, NC.
A drug investigation was being conducted due to confidential informants tipping off cops that drug deals were being conducted.
A sting operation was set up at the Walmart parking lot on June 13th around 2 p.m.
Court records say Ada had in her purse 403 pressed fentanyl pills, located inside a Jersey Mike’s restaurant bag.
Ada and Khalil were both in a vehicle. Cops moved in to make the arrest. Ada and Khalil were arrested charged with trafficking opium/heroin.
