Kristopher was found dead with a crack pipe and empty liquor bottle on Interstate 77 in Charlotte, he loved the Dallas Cowboys to death
Kristopher Kettells, 47, died from a cocaine and fentanyl overdose he was found dead on Interstate 77 in Charlotte, NC. Kristopher had a medical history of GERD and chronic back pain.

On August 14, 2025 a North Carolina Department Of Transportation worker found a vehicle on the shoulder of an on ramp for I-77 near Woodlawn Road. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
The worker approached the vehicle and upon realizing the vehicle was still running, checked
inside and found Kristopher deceased in the driver’s seat.

Kristopher was removed from the vehicle by medical personnel and pronounced deceased on scene. A crack pipe and an empty liquor bottle was found in the vehicle. The dead body caused extensive traffic delays on I-77.
Fentanyl and cocaine were found in Kristopher’s blood stream. A review of medical records lists a history of GERD and chronic back pain for the deceased.
The fentanyl and cocaine overdose caused pulmonary edema in Kristopher’s body, meaning his lungs were filled with fluid and his breathing passage ways were constricted to the point of suffocation. Kristopher’s official cause of death was fentanyl and cocaine toxicity.
Kristopher was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan, but he didn’t live to see them make the playoffs this year.
