On February 29, 2020, deputies with the Guilford County Sheriff’s Office made a large $1.5 million seizure of narcotics in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Deputies and agents working together, seized 331 pounds of high-grade marijuana and 30 pounds THC concentrate/wax.
This seizure is a result of an investigation in reference to the interstate trafficking of narcotics. The intended destination of the marijuana was not North Carolina; however, the seizure resulted in a disruption of the supply of narcotics along the east coast.
The street value of the marijuana is approximately $1.5 million dollars.
