On January 4, 2023 Rachel Ruiz-Izquierdo, 25, was murdered in a wild shooting by her ex-boyfriend Ubelquier Capote-Dominguez, 43, in Las Vegas.
Ubelquier and Rachel were in a long term relationship, but Rachel ended the relationship in the Fall of 2022.
Rachel found a new boyfriend, and Ubelquier was angry about the new man in Rachel’s life.
So on January 4, 2023 Ubelquier was waiting in his car at Rachel’s job. When Rachel pulled up to her job and walked near the entrance, Ubelquier approached Rachel and shot her in the head dead. Rachel died on the scene at her job.
As co-workers watched and ran. Ubelquier then shot himself in the head. Ubelquier also died on the scene. This case is classified as a murder suicide.
