On January 10, 2023 a woman was killed on The Plaza at a Shell gas station in Charlotte, NC. The woman is accused of having a knife and waving it at people.
Around 7 a.m. the woman was at the Shell gas station on The Plaza. Citizens called 911 and reported that the woman was waving a knife and threatening others.
Cops arrived and tried to talk to the female suspect, but she began walking backward toward The Plaza. Police followed her and the suspect backed into the roadway, continuing to move away from officers.
A car driving on The Plaza then hit the woman and she died at the scene.
