$1 MILLION IN COCAINE FOUND IN HIGHWAY TRAFFIC STOP

On July 27, 2022 state troopers seized $1 million in cocaine on Interstate 94 in Marshall, Michigan.

Police pulled over a vehicle on I-94, the suspect car briefly stopped, but then immediately sped off. When police finally caught up to the vehicle, it had crashed near a wooded area on the highway and the suspects were gone.

Police then approached the crashed suspect vehicle to find 22 pounds of cocaine inside. The drugs are worth $1 million. A search was then conducted in the area, and 3 suspects were found hiding in nearby swamps and woods. The suspects were all arrested and charged with drug trafficking.
