On August 13, 2022 Jamir Rucks, 22, was murdered in a violent shooting on South Tryon Street Charlotte, NC. Jamir was a well known rapper in the southeast United States. His social media accounts total over 100,000 followers.
At 2 a.m. Jamir was driving on South Tryon Street when a vehicle pulled up beside him and fired shots. Jamir was shot and the suspect vehicle sped off.
Jamir was taken to the hospital. Jamir later died at the hospital during emergency surgery.
No arrests have been made. On the same day 2 other men were murdered within hours of each other. Armani Spencer, 23, was murdered near North Lake mall.
Catoine Funderburk, 27, died in a wild homicide on Sumter Ave. around 2 a.m.
