On September 2, 2022 Omar Hardin, 18, was murdered in a triple shooting in Gastonia, NC.
A 27-year-old man, a 19-year-old man, and Omar were all shot at approximately 9:50 p.m. outside a home on North King Street. This encounter was a drive-by shooting.
Omar was taken to the hospital by ambulance, he died early in the morning on September 3rd. at the hospital.
The 19-year-old and 27-year-old victims remain in the hospital with serious injuries.
There is no suspect information at this time but detectives believe that this is an isolated incident. A handgun was located at the scene.
This remains an active investigation.
