Brittany Witherspoon, 16, died on September 3, 2022 in Charlotte, NC. Brittany was shot.
On August 19, 2022 Brittany was shot at an apartment complex near Arrowood Road in Charlotte. Brittany was paralyzed from the shooting and later placed on life support.
After several days on life support and being brain dead from the traumatic shooting, Brittany died. Police say the shooting was accidental. There is no word on who pulled the gun trigger or how the shooting happened. But authorities say no foul play is suspected.
