6 SHOT IN DOUBLE HOMICIDE, ONE WAS NC A&T UNIVERSITY STUDENT

15-year-old Ronaldlee Snipes and 19-year-old Kaneycha Turner were murdered at a party during a drive by shooting on October 25, 2022 in Greensboro, NC. Kaneycha was a freshman at North Carolina A&T University. Ronaldlee was a student at Dudley High School.

There was a large party occurring in anticipation of NC A&T’s homecoming week celebrations. Hundreds of college students were at the party. Around 11:30 p.m. suspects began shooting AK-47s into the crowd on Circle Drive.

6 people were shot total. Kaneycha was shot and died at the scene. Ronaldlee was shot and also died.

4 other people were shot and then taken to the hospital where they have serious injuries, they are in critical condition. The suspects fled from the scene. 

The double homicide was in the midst of homecoming week at NC A&T University

No arrests have been made. Kaneycha was a freshman student and was majoring in management business administration.

NC A&T University has a busy week planned with this being their homecoming. The rap star ‘Lil Baby’ is coming to the school’s homecoming to perform a concert. There will also be a gospel show by Tye Tribbett.
