41-year-old Kristin Carr was murdered on November 25, 2022 in Chicago, Illinois. Kristin’s 13-year-old son was also shot, but he survived.
Kristin and her son were walking home around 8:30 p.m. While they were walking through a church parking lot, a black SUV pulled up and began firing shots.
Kristin was shot along with her teen son. The SUV then sped off. Someone called 911 to report the shooting. When emergency responders arrived, Kristin was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Kristin’s son was transported to a children’s hospital in stable condition.
Kristin died at the hospital. No suspects are in police custody. Kristin was a mother of 3 young children.
